This position reports to the Asia Business Development Director based in USA.

Overall responsibility will be to develop the processes and build the systems necessary to manage the functions of Demand/Supply Management, Area Fulfillment and Supplier Management. To begin the work by collaborating with the countries existing S&OP structures and eventually taking over central inventory planning as systems architecture comes online.

Take leadership for the S&OP and demand/supply planning processes. Measure and monitor their effectiveness. This cover both in-house and outsource regional suppliers, as well as Asia-to-Asia and Asia-Export supply chains. Work with corporate APAC AREA and USA supply chain structures to reduce leadtimes and minimize transport costs while maintaining the service levels expected by the customers in the consumer business. Work with the NPI team for regional source of supply project to ensure effective inventory build up and commercialization on time. Participate the process to set supply chain strategy for APAC. And take active role to execute the strategy. Accountable for overall APAC supply chain performance for COB. Work with the country for improvement action or projects. Provide expertise/direction/training on various supply chain related concept

Qualifications

The candidate should have at least 10 years experience in supply chain. Has very good understanding on structure and functioning of 3M Supply Chain Integrated System.
