A global Interdealer Broker has instructed Austin Andrew to search for an Internal Audit Manager for their luxurious Singapore office. Reporting directly into the Head of Internal Audit this is a high-visibility role and the opportunity to join a growing and entrepreneurial firm.
This is an ambitious firm with offices throughout the world, there is a close-knit culture and a strong desire to grow the Asia-Pacific side of the business.
You will undertake audits throughout the business, covering Front Office Brokerage, Middle & Back Office, HR, Payroll, Compliance and IT. Using a risk-based approach, this is an end-to-end internal audit role. It will be your responsibility to identify internal control weaknesses and recommend enhancements, follow-up on management corrective actions and maintain audit work papers.

The ideal candidate will have extensive Internal Audit experience, ideally from a Brokerage or Capital Markets background, although candidates from a more generalist Financial Services background will be considered. Sound knowledge of various traded products (Commodities, Equities, Financial and Credit) will be highly advantageous. Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) experience is a plus. You will have an audit or accountancy qualification.

You must be comfortable with circa 50% travel across the Asia-Pacific region.
