RESIDENT SALES ENGINEER /
ACCOUNT MANAGER (France/Italy)
Primary Function:
The Resident Sales Engineer/Account Manager attends to sales enquires and generation of quotations. Organizes and conducts presentation to potential and existing customers, provides after sales service to customers.
Principal Tasks/Responsibilities
1. Generates request for quotations from designated customers.
2. Meets customers through regular sales call and personally at customer sites.
3. Provides reports from customer meetings and important calls.
4. Understands basic technical knowledge of products.
5. Acts as customer contact regarding pricing, quality, scheduling and shipping.
6. Liaises with sales staff on customers’ requirements and provide service to them locally.
7. Sources confirmation and update checklist status to ensure all customer requirements are met.
8. Responsible for corrective and preventive action.
Qualification and Experience
Diploma/Degree Holder or equivalent business experience or technical education. 2 years of industrial sales within PCB, EMS, Electronics or Automotive industry. The Resident Engineer/Account Manager has excellent communication skills, is flexible and stress-resistant. Very good knowledge of English, knowledge of other languages is advantageous. Good working knowledge of MS-Office is imperative. Ability to travel is required.
Scope of Supervision
You will report to the Sales Director, Europe.
