Project Engineer

The overall role is to oversee and follow up the proper closure of technical issues including scheduling, engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, hook-up, commissioning and start-up during the EPCIC project execution phase.

Assist in the planning, following up, overseeing and controlling the execution of fiscal and administration functions relating to project implementation within the Project Management Team.  Must be able to evaluate, steward the closing and report on technical predicaments and risk issues.
Ensure that project specific strategies and work scope from design through to start-up of the entire project are being implemented and result meet the performance indices. Knowledge in the established and common codes & standards is required.
Keeping up to date and coordinate functional roles on health, safety, environment, quality and engineering associated with the execution of the project.
Interface and coordinate within the Project Management Team's managers and discipline engineers on distribution of technical information.
Interface and liaison with contractor, subcontractors, and Company's headquarter on issues that affect project implementation, compile and maintain current a comprehensive interface register of the issues.
Participate in internal and external management and project meetings, review and disseminate minutes of meeting and information pertaining to the issues discussed. Compile weekly and monthly reports and issue to Sr. Management Groups and Managers.
Stand in for the Engineering/Offshore Manager when called for.

The salary for this position is negotiable.
