QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
• Technical diploma in instrument/automation engineering.
• Offshore survival course – Ideally looking for BOSIET certificate
• 4 years of experience in the oil and gas industry as instrument works supervisor.
• Good knowledge of MS Office package, preferred knowledge of mechanical completion management softwares.
• Basic knowledge of main process schemes for oil and gas treatment. Good knowledge of plant automation systems, plants construction and commissioning.
• Basic knowledge of QA/QC Construction Management Systems.
• Basic knowledge of construction and commissioning HSE requirements and standards implementation.
JOB SCOPE:
The project is an installation of an FPSO for the first oil treatment and a submarine line for the development of a new oilfield.
Purpose – to supervise instrument works verifying they are performed in compliance with project schedule and budget and as per project drawings, specifications and applicable standards.
Main responsibilities:
• Technical integrity of instrument works.
• Monitoring compliance of Instrument works with project schedule and budget.
• Validation of instrument works progress (constructed quantities).
Key Activities:
• Verifying instrument works (instrument installation and calibration, instrument tubings installation and integrity, installation of DCS/ICSS and other equipment, mechanical completion checks) are carried out in compliance with project drawings, specifications and applicable international codes and standards.
• Verifying that utilised bulk materials are certified and in compliance with project specifications and applicable standards.
• Verifying instrument works are executed according to project schedule and budget, highlighting any deviations and suggesting recovery actions.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting and technical solutions.
• Validating instrument works progress.
• Assuring instrument works punch lists are properly detected, integrated within the mechanical completion master punch list and cleared.
Rate: Euro 272 per worked day
Duration: 18 months +
Rotation – This is a residential position, 8 hours a day/6 days a week based on 105 days on / 15 days off.
