Legal Manager (8 Years PQE)

 
Our client is a global IT services provider, giving end-to-end technology solutions to Fortune 500 companies world-wide. A vacancy exists in their Singapore office for a legal manager with a minimum of 8 years post qualified experience.

Responsibilities include advising management on legal and commercial risks associated with transactions, proposing suitable risk mitigating actions, responding to tenders, advising on intellectual property rights protection, managing litigious issues, and liaising with and instructing external lawyers, where appropriate.

Required Qualifications/Skills: More than 8 years PQE, with strong experience in IT, intellectual property and commercial areas in a law firm or multi national company, preferably an IT services vendor Good law degree required, preferably called to the Singapore Bar Excellent oral and written English communication skills Proven ability to efficiently manage a large volume of transactions and must enjoy working in a dynamic, fast moving and high pressure environment Must be able to work independently, proactively and at the same time be a good team player Some travel is required within region
