• Provide decision support on operating expense management by managing the budget, revenue enhancement through ensuring the countries are making profitable decisions, reviewing of the card pricing levels to ensure profitability and deal support for partnerships, co-brands, portfolio, acquisitions and affinities.
• Ability to create high quality, profitable solutions while ensuring speed to market
• Responsible for preparing market reviews for American Express senior management.
• In-depth understanding of product economics and marketplace insights
• Excellent understanding of the global business economics and the financial drivers of the Amex business
• Ability to create high quality, profitable solutions while ensuring speed to market
Planning & Forecasting:
• Provides market insights to the drivers and marginal contribution P&Ls provided by ICSS Finance HQ team based in London.
• Provides finance decision support on consumer card business including management reporting and investment optimization
Investment Analysis:
• Provides financial and strategic direction on investments for Thailand and Singapore markets with the ability to prioritize on the investments with the largest Return on Investments and Return on Assets
• Provides inputs to the Investment Optimization team (part of ICSS Finance HQ) and the Investment Optimization system to determine which investments are most profitable
• Business acumen, analytical skills for decision support and investment analysis
• Continuously assess the macro-economy, industry and competitive activities

Required Qualifications:
- University graduate of a Finance or Business course
- Over 2 years experience in a Finance-related job , preferably in the credit card and/or payment processing industry
- Complete understanding of financial concepts (P&L, NPV, ROI, etc)
- Proven ability to drive tasks and resolve issues with minimal supervision
- Relationship/Influence skills (Drive, Passion, Enthusiasm, Tenacity)
- Excellent analytical skills with proven ability to do investment analysis
- Ability to think “outside the box” in order to generate and test new ideas
- Proven ability to drive tasks and resolve issues
