Regional Sourcing Manager – Singapore / South Asia

Overall goal:

Support the vision of being a leading Supply & Demand Management organization by developing the sourcing community towards best practice according to the Supply & Demand Management strategy framework.Support development and manage best-in-class commodity strategies and sourcing area plans.Drive the initiative portfolio in order to provide maximum value to the bank.Balance the priorities of the internal business partner with Supply & Demand Management's mandate.Ensure effectiveness of the global sourcing community by cooperating with regional/global sourcing to tasks (eg sourcing initiatives) in a way that the value generation will be optimized.

Key tasks and responsibilities include:

Support, define and implement commodity strategies as well as sourcing area plans for all sourcing requirements in Singapore, India, Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia loca-tions whilst ensuring appropriate alignment to global and regional commodity strategies.Contribute to allocation of savings targets assigned to commodities.Coordinate activities of local and regional sourcing commodities/-group representatives to achieve savings targets and executes, where necessary.Report savings achievements for commodities in scope.Promote global Supply & Demand Management standards/ guidelines.Establish strong communication lines and collaboration with key stakeholders and colleagues in and across the regions.Ensure appropriate internal business partner relationship management according to stakeholder map.Ensure appropriate supplier relationship management for assigned suppliers.

Our ideal candidate should have the following requisites:

University degree (ideally in economics or Supply Management) or industry experience equivalentAdditional certification as Sourcing/Procurement professionalStrong oral and written English (mandatory)5+ years experience in strategic sourcing in an international environmentExcellent communication (written, verbal) and interpersonal skills to positively influence people to make the appropriate decisions for the Bank and resolve conflicts effectivelyLeadership in an international environment (managed people or cross-functional team leadership)Strong project management experienceHighly competent in negotiations and contract knowledge
