Head of Business Development

HEAD BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT- Singapore

Summary

Provide leadership to the Group’s sourcing and securing of LNG supplies. Responsible for the Company’s venture into and growth in the LNG business.

Key Responsibilities

Lead market research and analysis of LNG industry as well as identify the sources of potential LNG supplies

Undertake due diligence and prepare feasibility studies and investment proposals

Formulate business strategies and lead negotiation sessions with government representatives or LNG suppliers to secure long term LNG supplies at the most favorable terms and conditions

Foster and strengthen working and social relationships and networks with key officials of relevant LNG companies, energy ministries and key interested parties in the LNG source countries

Requirements

Bachelor degree in Energy, preferably with a Master degree

10 years of relevant LNG experience, with strong background in the oil & gas industry and familiar with operations of oil & gas companies in the LNG industry

Proven success track records on LNG negotiation process and contractual deals

Extensive business and social network with key players in the LNG industry

Long term contract negotiation experience in Middle East countries, preferably Qatar

Strong negotiation capability as well as effective interpersonal and communication skills

A resourceful and self driven team player with strong leadership and organisation skills
