Job desk : Liaise with forwarders for all shipments. Verify bills and submit support documents to finance. Prepare reports. Claims handling. Arranging & coordinating import/export by sea, air or road. Apply for customs permit for shipments. Liaising with contractors on timely collection and delivery of cargoes in Singapore. Support overseas offices by providing quotations and transport solutions. Coordinate with factory/supplier/customer on orders and delivery/shipment schedules

Requirements: Preferably 1 to 2 years experience although no experience will be considered. Minimum diploma holder

Qualifications : You must possess a degree with a minimum 5 years of shipping experience and a strong knowledge of freight terms, insurance claims polices and procedure. In addition, you must possess attributes which includes strong planning, analytical, good interpersonal communication skill.

Main Duties: You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities, monitoring and liaising for the efficient flow with the warehouse and forwarders to ensure smooth delivery of customers. You should be able to take the current excellent shipping management to higher performance with the service providers to increase shipping frequency and shorten delivery lead-time. Thus, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to the customers with the opportunity to review and improve upon existing systems and operations. You also must be a key player in the supply chain and demonstrating good track record of success, resilient, flexible and capable of establishing strong relationship with both internal and external customers.
