Piping Department Manager JobDescription:International Leader having the experience of piping engineering for Oil/Gasplant (down stream) such as refinery, gas processing plan, ethylene plant, LNGplant, polyethylene plant, EO/EG plant and so on, has an immediate opportunityfor a Senior Piping Engineer.
Duties: Managing the Piping discipline in providingtechnical leadership, technical development of staff, developing disciplinedesign practices and procedures. The candidate will also participate indeveloping the scope of work and man-hour estimates for proposals and also conductquality reviews of the piping documents.
Experience:
Preferablywith at least 15 years relevant experience in engineering design of the overallPiping Engineering in the Oil/Gas plant in international arena.
Education
BE– Mechanical Engineering
SoftwareKnowledge:
MSsuite of Office programs, piping programs such as PDS, PDMS, Caesar II, etc.
Required Skills:1) Executionof estimation and contracted job such as the preparation of piping material Requisition/Specification,Data sheet for Piping Special Materials, information drawing forCivil/Structural and Mechanical Department, MTO and BQ summary and 3D Modeling(if required) 2) Experiencein performing Pipe Routing Studies, Stress Analysis, Pipe Support Design, SteamTracing Arrangement, Test Block Diagram and other related piping work. 3) Ableto perform FS, Feed Work, Technical Consulting4) Supportingthe business development 5) Evaluationof Vendor Bid Analysis and Vendor Print Review 6) Conversantwith relevant codes and standard and familiar with computer-aided design anddrafting7) Agood experience in Shop fabrication, field inspection and plant commissioning.
