HEAD OF SURF ENGINEERING

Education: University Degree in relevant Engineering from reputable university

Experience:

· Minimum 15 years experience in relevant oil and gas field project.

· At least 10 years as lead or senior subsea engineering position in oil and gas projects.

· Experience in conceptual design, project FEED and EPCI phase.

· Detailed and specialized knowledge and experience of subsea, pipeline and riser engineering for deepwater oil and gas fields.

· Detailed and specialized knowledge and experience of subsea, pipeline and riser fabrication and installation for deepwater oil and gas field.

· Experience in offshore (pre-) commissioning of subsea facilities.


Basic Job Requirements :

· Responsible for technical authority for SURF (Subsea, Umbilical, Riser and Flowline) structure and control systems.

· Responsible to the SURF Project Manager for delivery of the engineering documentation satisfying the design requirements compliance with the constraints of cost, time and technical quality.

· Review and check SURF engineering documents submitted by engineering contractors.

· Ensure that the level of technical integrity required for the safe and long term operation of the Surface Facilities in maintained through all stages of Project Development, including the Operating and Maintenance Philosophies and Procedures.

· Sets and maintains high personal standards for HSE, QA and ethical behaviors as an example for the Facility Team, subcontractors and project stakeholders.

· Previous technical guidance and mentoring for discipline engineers within the SURF Engineering Team so as to develop and expand their skills and knowledge.


Other :

· High document creating and reporting capability.

· PC fluency in MS Office programs and skilled user of specialist discipline programs.

· Highly developed cross cultural influencing skills for the team and subcontract staff of varied nationalities and backgrounds.

· Innovative and problem solving ability.
