Field Enablement Consultant for WW EPG

As part of the WW Sales Excellence team, we are seeking a Field Enablement consultant, based in the timezone to help EPG achieve its growth aspirations by operationalizing EPG strategy, and driving execution excellence in sales discipline, sales productivity and customer focus. This role will initially be dedicated to the India and APAC.

Reporting to the WW Sales Excellence Lead, these high profile roles are very much “consulting” roles in that they require the person to be a successful change agent, to have impact and influence without direct authority, high degrees of energy, flexibility and organizational agility, deep insight into MSFT and the ability to create real business value.

Responsibilities

Land Enterprise Operating Plan & Grow the Business

Driving of projects and engagements that support the landing and execution of strategy and programs; Deliver quality landing workshops & engagements aligned to WW EPG priorities; Drive close alignment with WWEPG, TZ & Subsidiary Leadership; Coach/Advise Country GM and EPG Leadership; Improve Corp & WW EPG programs and initiatives by being a conduit/liaison to and from the field; provide critical input into plans

Drive Transformation and Sales Productivity: On an as required basis diagnose & deep dive on identifying potential root causes of issues and Create Recommendations for action that are Validate with Key stakeholders. Represent the field to obtain Support Execution Strategy within Subsidiary and WW

Create a Step Change in WW Sales Excellence expertise & capacity

Growth Sales Leadership talent pool for EPG and MSFT; Supporting Recruiting and Hiring of SE Lead/Roles and transition/succession planning; On-boarding, Mentoring & Coaching SE Leads; Identify and drive reuse of field best practices & engagement IP; Drive WCS and Sales Mgmt Excellence in the sub & area.

Customer & Partner Satisfaction

Enable the sub and area to identify, leverage and implement best practices to drive a step change in CPE; Drive Partner Solution Area Sales capacity and prioritization; Drive integrated Account Planning process across Sales & Service; Drive customer satisfaction through COS execution; Drive Account Planning Process and Quality Inspection and Coaching by Management

Land ONE Microsoft in the Enterprise

Identify and enable a vision of Alignment and Integration via One Sales Excellence within the sub and area across Services; PS, CS & SMSP.

Share and Leverage Best Practice

Increase the volume and quality of Best Practice Submission; Increase the access and visibility to WW Teams to be leveraging; Leveraging Best Practices wherever possible and enhancing

Drive Community

Drive level of engagement in interaction within SE and FE Community; Support efforts that makes SE a strong brand and a magnet for talent; Build and drive usage of FE knowledge base & communication to drive FE community; Share and leverage best practice

In partnership with her/his Sales Excellence colleagues who drive customer relationship experience, annuity strategy, infrastructure optimization, the Field Enablement Consultant will lead the field in consistent business management process adoption and execution to achieve breakthrough growth.

This position requires:

A deep understanding of the business and sales processes within EPG in subsidiaries worldwide, and an empathy for the unique challenges of small, medium and large subsidiaries

Consulting skills (strategic problem identification, framework development, solution via creation of actionable work streams for individual leads to drive).

Ability to represent EPG HQ leadership to our field counterparts and to convey thought leadership in the sales excellence area

Executive engagement. Effective senior-level communications (both verbal and written)

Contribution to team’s strategy and direction as well as management of day-to-day execution

Connection with the field, especially EPG sales excellence leaders, and ability to build and maintain meaningful business relationships with them

A passion for driving collaboration between EPG, PS, CS and Services to achieve the One Microsoft in the Enterprise vision

Action-orientation, field empathy, innovative thinking

Successful candidates will have:

§ 10 years experience in enterprise sales and/or sales management and/or consulting services (including recent Microsoft experience)

§ Previous management consulting experience

§ Proven history of successful business planning and execution

§ Competencies Level 4: organizational agility, deep insight

§ Competencies Level 3 (minimum): cross-boundary collaboration
